Anne Roffel

HathaYinYoga Basics

She always wanted to move and did various forms of sports. Her first yoga class she followed in her twenties, she was immediately intrigued by the effect of yoga on her body and on her emotional wellbeing. She started to read books on yoga and started a self practice and following weekly classes. Then she came in contact with poweryoga at a gym, and her teacher informed her about the teacher training at YogaMoves with Hilary Brown and Katiza Ivulic. She started the teacher training just to know more about yoga for herself. As part of her training she started teaching yoga at the ministry of economic affairs in The Hague. As soon as she noticed the positive changes in her students, she decided she wanted to continue teaching yoga for the rest of her life.

And so she did. The first years next to her job working free lance for magazines (Summertime Magazine, Viva, Margriet, Webber, Yoga magazine) as an commercial editor. And she specialized in teaching at big events (Lowlands, Surf events, Brainstorms for big companies, Carpe Diem Urban Yogatour, Sponsored by Puma e.a.). At the same time she taught around 4/5 classes a week at small studios and gyms in the area of The Hague). In 2010 she started teaching fulltime. During the years she has studied with various teachers, such as Shiva Rea, Manju Jois and Dona Holleman. And the last couple of years she is heavily inspired and educated by Max Strom. So her teachings became softer and more hatha yoga orientated.
People and the world around her inspire her. Silence inspires her. The combination of the outer and inner world gives contact with the source where inspiration flows and comes freely. She wants to share the healing effect of yoga with the whole world, because she believes that yoga makes people happier, healthier and in contact with their deeper levels of consciousness on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. The more people who can experience this bliss, the better.
Her motto is: Join us in an endless journey
