Brenda first got in touch with yoga when she was 18. In the beginning, she was mainly interested in the physical aspect of the practice. But slowly she started to become more conscious of the effect yoga had on her. During a long trip through India and Nepal, it became more and more clear what yoga mentally did for her and that was the moment where she dove into the world of yoga behind the asanas. During her stay in the Sivananda ashram in the south of India, it became clear that completing a teacher training would be the next step.

After Brenda’s return to the Netherlands, her practice started to deepen and intensify. After having worked as a production assistant at an international advertising agency in Amsterdam for three years, it was time to follow her heart and take the plunge. Brenda completed her 200hr Hatha Vinyasa TT in Bali and is now completely immersing herself in the world of yoga.

Brenda’s goal is to inspire and help others to become their authentic self, finding their inner voice and to start following their heart and finding out what it is they love to do.

Besides her work at Delight, she recently started teaching Vinyasa yoga classes. At Delight Yoga you will find Brenda behind the reception, where she strives to help you the best way possible with her knowledge of yoga and make your experience at the studio a pleasant one.
