Dorothea started with yoga in 2000 and has been a dedicated practitioner ever since. She is now a registered teacher with Vijñāna Yoga International. Vijñāna yoga was developed by Orit Sen–Gupta (Israel) after having studied for many years with  B.K.S. Iyengar, Sri Krishnamacharya, Pattabhi Jois and T.K.V. Desikachar. This style of yoga emphasises working from the inside out, so you learn to listen to your body.

Dorothea teaches different styles of yoga: Hatha, Yin and Vijñāna. She used to live in Singapore where she taught meditation and yoga for children. What fascinates her in yoga is that it is different every day. In a yoga class you come in contact with your body and experience your limits and also where you can push them a little. Every day your body will tell you a different story. By feeling and experiencing this you can reach a state of harmony within yourself and your body. After practice you will feel light-hearted, rested and full of life.
