Irene Lomer

Astanga LedVinyasa

Irene grew up in England and moved to the Netherlands in 2010. From a young age she was introduced to eastern health and movement practices by her parents and since her early 20's yoga has been her biggest passion. After completing her first teacher training at Yogasite with Robert Boustany in 2015, Irene began teaching. She loves learning and has continued to deepen her studies through an Advanced Teacher Training at Delight that will be completed at the end of 2018.  Irene has been very inspired by studying the Path of Ashtanga with her mysore teachers Claudia Pradellaand Eva Ugolini, as well as practicing several weekend workshops with David Swenson. Irene has also studied Vinyasa Alignment with Adela Serrano, and Pranayama and Assists with Moena de Jong.  She loves to take her yoga mat wherever she goes and has practiced yoga for six months in India, many different European countries, the US and South East Asia. Irene founded Antara Yoga in 2016 to be able to teach yoga in a way that helps students find a spacious feeling in their bodies and minds. She enjoys teaching a personal approach to yoga and is known for bringing a gentle calmness to an often physically challenging practice.
