Italy has always had a profound passion for movement, stemming from her extensive background in dance. She holds her BA in Dance and Fine Arts and has danced professionally both as a freelance artist and for renowned companies in the US.

She found her love for teaching when she became a certified Barre instructor in her home of Seattle in 2011. Aside from teaching barre and dancing, her yoga practice is what has kept her grounded and sane through this lovely but crazy life we all live. Wanting to expand both her own practice and her love of teaching, she went on to get her Yoga certification through Frog Lotus Yoga in 2014, deepening her education for mind and body connection.

Italy has a special way of creating a community feel within all her classes. Her strong emphasis on personal attention, alignment and engagement with her students makes her classes a comfortable, fun and energetic place to be. She is continuously inspired by the people she meets, building special connections with each person that comes through her door.

Italy’s vision is to help others bring balance into their life by creating awareness through their own body.
