About Lidewij

For Lidewij a life without yoga is unimaginable. At a very early age she was introduced to yoga and after various trips to India, Thailand and Bali she decided to follow her heart and dedicate her full attention to yoga.  She completed the Sva Dharma Teacher Training at Delight Yoga and developed a passion for Astanga Yoga. Her daily Astanga practice is a journey to her inner self, that leaves her feeling peaceful and energized at the same time. She sees her yoga mat as her mirror that shows her new sides of herself again and again. In this way yoga never gets boring, you always keep learning and it helps you to see how everything is continuously moving.

With her classes she is hoping to help others to get closer to their true self and to inspire them to live a conscious and loving life. Lidewij is eternally grateful to her teachers Katiza Satya, Kevin Sahaj, Claudia Pradella and Eva Ugolini for their guidance on her yoga path. She is very happy to share her love for yoga with you.

About Lydia

“Yoga is the state where you are missing nothing.” Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati

Since her very first class, Lydia Aytogmus has been mesmerized by the transformative power and therapeutic impact of yoga; that by means of breath and movement on the mat, we can explore the interconnectedness of all off the mat. She sees yoga as a holistic, radical approach to inner peace, simply by means of looking inside. Yoga is for her a daily invitation to an endless deepening of inner peace and joy.

Lydia’s teaching style (800 hours certified Vinyasa/Jivamukti teacher) empowers students to explore the path of liberation by creating a safe space, where students find confidence and strength to re-connect with themselves. She loves to share her knowledge of the yogic tools of movement of the body (Asana), breathing (Pranayama), devotion (Bhakti), meditation (Dhyana), deep listening (Nada) and the exploration of the traditional texts of yoga (Shastra). In teaching, she is inspired to share the obvious, so that the unobvious can continue to unfold.

Lydia shows deep reverence for the teachings of yoga. She is grateful for her teachers Tamar Samir, David Life and Sharon Gannon, who inspired her to study the science of Yoga, and for all the students and teachers of past, present and future.

About Max

Max has always been a truthseeker. After getting connected with meditation, he was able to feel the connection with spirit. This practice soon brought him to his first yoga class in 2013. The class felt like a homecoming. He got the feeling that he has done this for many lifetimes. Playing with Vinyasa, Bikram and Yin practices for a year, he got in contact with Astanga. The tristana method connected him deeply; making him feel that this practice is the perfect fit.

Since then, Max has been dedicated to the Astanga Yoga System and it became clear to him that besides practicing it, he also has a passion to pass over this practice to others.

He has done a Vipassana 10 day retreat in 2015, and in 2016 he has completed the 200 hours basic teacher training of Delight Yoga which he received from Sahaj and Satya. His main teachers today are Eva Ugolini and Claudia Pradella.

He is inspired by truthseekers like his teachers; authentic and spiritual people dedicated to truth.

Working for Delight feels for him like the perfect next step to nurture the newborn Astanga baby in him. To bring him closer to teaching, to that what he deeply loves.
