Lydia Aytogmus & Claudia Pradella

About Lydia
“Yoga is the state where you are missing nothing.” Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati

Since her very first class, Lydia Aytogmus has been mesmerized by the transformative power and therapeutic impact of yoga; that by means of breath and movement on the mat, we can explore the interconnectedness of all off the mat. She sees yoga as a holistic, radical approach to inner peace, simply by means of looking inside. Yoga is for her a daily invitation to an endless deepening of inner peace and joy.

Lydia’s teaching style empowers students to explore the path of liberation by creating a safe space, where students find confidence and strength to re-connect with themselves. She loves to share her knowledge of the yogic tools of movement of the body (Asana), breathing (Pranayama), devotion (Bhakti), meditation (Dhyana), deep listening (Nada) and the exploration of the traditional texts of yoga (Shastra). In teaching, she is inspired to share the obvious, so that the unobvious can continue to unfold.

Lydia shows deep reverence for the teachings of yoga. She is grateful for her teachers David Life and Sharon Gannon, Claudia Pradella and Eva Ugolini who inspired her to study the science of Yoga, and for all the students and teachers of past, present, and future.

About Claudia
Claudia studied a variety of disciplines from personal coaching, to massage and dance therapy, but her affinity and interest in Eastern philosophy, reinforced by several journeys through Asia, led her to a deeper connection to the Yoga tradition. Combining her passion for travels and yoga, Claudia invested in several years of personal practice, a few teacher trainings and various studies with great teachers and masters from different traditions, like Sri K Pattabhi Jois and TKV Desikachar.

Today Claudia is a fully committed student in the Astanga Vinyasa tradition, with a deep passion for the psychology of the yoga of Patanjali and with a strong believe in the benefits of an individual and balanced approach to yoga. She continues to travel every year to her teachers and mentors - Lino Miele and Sarah & Ty Powers, whose guidance she treasures dearly and with deep gratitude.

Since 2003 she’s been living and teaching regular yoga classes in the Netherlands. She is program director at Delight Yoga, where she holds the Astanga Mysore Program with full joy and dedication.
