About Nanneke

Growing up in South Africa, Nanneke was inspired by African Dance which eluded an interest in physical movement early on.

Curious about the deeper essence of life, she found that studying yogic philosophy and Buddhism were the only things that truly made sense to her. This interest caused her to start a Raja Yoga Teacher Training in Amsterdam in 2009. After a year she decided to make her practice a bit more physical and continued with a Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. Upon concluding this 3-year training, Nanneke moved to Chile and started her teaching practice in Santiago. When she returned to Amsterdam a year later she completed a Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Anat Geiger.

Nanneke now teaches Yin, YinYang and (Dynamic) Hatha yoga. During her classes, the emphasis often lies on linking movement with breath and softening our body, mind and heart. Her practice is very down to earth, as she continues to incorporate yoga into her professional life as film producer.

Inspired by the path of Advaita Vedanta, Nanneke’s classes are always aimed towards creating a moving meditation and establishing a deeper inner connection with oneself. 

 

About Rolandjan

For over 15 years Rolandjan dived deeply into various Yoga systems, like Anusara, Kundalini, Yin and Iyengar yoga, while also studying and practicing several massage treatments such as ThaiYoga/ assisted Yin massage, Shiatsu on-site massage and Fascia therapy.

As he moved in life he met many profound teachers on his way, each of them able to help him deepen his understanding of yoga and meditation, before finally arriving on the path of Advaita Vedanta, the teachings of non-duality.

Today, Rolandjan both practices and teaches Yoga as a way to move into self inquiry; a means to dive deeply within ourselves and explore who or what we truly are. His invitation is to come to discover our true Self beyond all cultural and personal conditioning, or any limiting belief and idea. To know experientially that you are yourself the timeless source of real peace, joy and true Love.

Rolandjan is also offering one on one sessions called 'guidance into Presence'.
In each session there is room to share what seems to block you from feeling content, joyous and peaceful. With the help of meditation, self inquiry, and simple exercises Rolandjan will assist you in focussing the attention from a limited personal state of mind into our natural state of peaceful presence. Feeling home and happy again within yourself.

About Sjoerd

After flirting with yoga in his twenties, this time (2015) he was naturally and unavoidable drawn into the yogic fire.

The sacred Amazone ceremonies gave Sjoerd many glimpses about what it means to be a human being, to live with other beings and how we tend to keep ourselves small and ‘secure’. More insight and embodiment came when he underwent a 500-hour ‘Delight Yoga Teacher Training’ with Katiza Satya Ivulic and Kevin Sahaj in 2016-2018. Under their guidance, the real peeling of the layers of conditioning started. More trainings, self-discovery retreats, plant ceremony’s, Vipassana and Baghavad Gita study groups were a result of this deep urge of wanting to know the Truth of what we are. Sjoerd feels a deep gratitude for his teachers guiding him on this great discovery. He explains this inward-journey as a remembrance; something that was always there, but was forgotten for quite some time.

Sjoerd’s classes are modestly influenced by his parallel shamanic path and have an emphasis on the meditative and healing aspects of yoga. Stripping away any goals and expectations, and inviting you to just simply Be present. Giving space to whatever arises and start seeing things for what they really are. Sometimes he likes to use instruments during his classes as sound is a true ‘soul mover’ for him.

Conscious Breathing Circle

In this workshop, we will come together to explore the possibilities of a breathing technique called Circular Breathing. During this technique, we remove the pauses between the in- and exhalation and the ex- and inhalation.
