Reinier Dorrepaal

Astanga LedMysore Program

Reinier has started practicing yoga in 2003. After years of led classes in various styles of yoga, the authentic astanga yoga fascinated him completely and he became a dedicated practitioner of the traditional astanga yoga method. Reinier did his teacher training with Claudia Pradella in 2010, who already was his teacher before that time and still is his teacher for many years. Reinier started teaching yoga in 2010. First as a part-time teacher beside a job as chartered accountant, but in an organic way this has grown to a full time job as yoga teacher. On a yearly bases Reinier travels abroad to deepen his knowledge of astanga yoga by participating in workshops and retreats of internationally well known teachers like Petri Räisänen, Clayton Horton, Govinda Kay, Lino Miele, Nancy Gilgoff, Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldmann, David Swenson, Bela Lipat, Luke Jordan. Since many years Petri Räisänen is a source of inspiration for Reinier with his workshops on, among other subjects, energy healing and energy adjustments.

Reinier is Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher (E-RYT-200) and he did the ‘advanced yoga studies’ training (RYT 500) at Delight Yoga with Katiza Satya and Kevin Sahaj in 2014 and 2015. In the classes of Reinier you will be taken by his knowledge of Astanga yoga and passion for it.
