Adela, originally from Spain, has lived in different cities since 2000. Her Yoga journey started in New York while she was facing a major change in her life; motherhood. Practicing Yoga helped her to feel more at home with herself and her changing circumstances.
Amanda is from Wales in the UK. She worked for many years in sales, then as a purser for two main airlines, experiencing different cultures. After meeting her Dutch husband she moved to Holland and had three children. Over the last 14 years, she has taken on various studies for health. From 2010-2015 she studied at the Academy of Ayurvedic Studies to become an Ayurvedic practitioner.
Amélie is born in France and originally comes from Burgundy. In 2008 her interest in Yoga starts in Paris, where she practices Hatha and Bikram Yoga until she discovers Astanga Yoga. In 2009, she starts a 200-hour Teacher training at Astanga Yoga Paris with Linda Munro and Gerald Disse, and follows them to Auroville, India, for workshops with them and with Monica Marinoni.

With her academic background in Asian studies, Annabel has always had a particular interest in Eastern thought and philosophy. Her studies on Buddhism eventually led her to explore yoga and meditation. The combination of devotion, philosophy, and moving meditation is what drew Annabel to Astanga.
Anne initially began practicing yoga to relieve stress and balance her hectic professional life back home in Montreal, Canada. Yoga has since become her journey that would impact every facet of her life, inspiring her to learn presence, patience, compassion, self-love and much more.
Without being consciously aware of it at the time, Anne’s Yoga journey started with her parents. Her first meditation practice was in front of a teddy bear altar when she was 8 years old. After a little detour in the Amsterdam fashion world, she ended up on her Yoga path.
Cecilia discovered Yin Yoga when she moved to Amsterdam and noticed that she got easily caught up in the yang-energy of the city. She felt like Yin yoga was invented to make her feel at home again in her body, heart and mind. Finding this safe way to explore her inner-world, and learning to become soft had an effect on every facet of her life.

Whilst yoga was all around when Chiara was younger, her mum teached and practiced yoga, she wasn’t attracted to it at all. She thought of it like kind of Goofy, while at the same time she loved to turn the pages of her mums’ yoga books and just stare at the exotic postures and people.
Born and raised in Germany, Christian came to Amsterdam in 2002. His yoga journey started in 2008, when he tried out a yoga lesson in his gym. He was immediately hooked. The teacher, Andreas Trussat, became his yoga mentor for the next couple of years, including some beautiful retreats in Vlieland, Ibiza, India and Bali and lots of laughter.
Dennis was born in Koblenz, Germany and started out as an actor for theatre and TV. To find some balance in his busy lifestyle he took his first Yoga class in a gym. He did not yet have any idea about the impact of this first encounter, but from then on, he started to enter the world of yoga.
Yoga came to Ellemijn while she was graduating from University. It changed her life completely. After she graduated, she decided to travel the world and learn more about herself and Yoga. She got inspired through practicing yoga and meditation daily and sacred practices such as Yoga, Chinese Medicine, Daoism and Ayurveda.
Ellen Paalman is a Astanga en Vinyasa yoga teacher and dedicated yogi with a deep interest in yoga postures and their mechanics. As a child and teenager she was fascinated by dance, but finding yoga felt like coming home. She felt she was finally allowed to look within, instead of focussing on picture perfect.
Physical practice has always been a part of Ergün's life. For years he played soccer and spent many hours at the gym. But in his searched for more meaning he switched to the practice of martial arts (Wing Chun) which gave him the opportunity to combine physical practice with the principles of Eastern philosophy.
In 1996 sparked by personal interest and curiosity Eric Weber set off to discover the world of Iyengar yoga. He immersed himself in the yoga philosophy and concentrated specifically on the alignment of asanas. His discovery of yoga started as a passion, to this day it has not let him go and allows him to travel far abroad.
Fi’s Journey in Yoga began when she was a kid. Going to weekly kids Yoga to then being dragged to Yoga classes as a teenager by her parents (finding it a little boring) and having her own Yoga revelation as a young adult once she learned the philosophy behind the Asana practice.

Iryna, coming from Ukraine and having traveled the world, has found her home and love for yoga in Amsterdam. Iryna’s journey into yoga started from 500 Hours Hatha Teacher Training in Svaha Yoga, with an in-depth study of Hatha yoga postures, pranayama breathing and yoga sutra’s and philosophy. Fascinated by the magic of yoga, meditation and mindfulness, Iryna continued deepening her knowledge and sharing it with students while teaching in yoga studios, offices and companies.
Janneke believes that the outer world is seen through the eyes of the inner world. Yoga and meditation are her favorite ways to connect to that inner world. Sometimes through a powerful flow that fires your body up, sometimes by being still and simply listening to what your body has to say. Always with awareness of the breath.

Already in early teenage years, she was interested in Eastern philosophies, continuously searching for the answers to questions that could not be answered by Google. Yoga came to Jolijn 10 years ago. She found peace and her true self by practicing asanas and pranayama. Luca, born and raised in Florence, Italy, is a passionate teacher that explores practising through a dynamic vision of the traditional Astanga Vinyasa Yoga method. Trained in Florence by Larry Schultz Rocket movement “It’s Yoga”, he became certified Astanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher in 2015 and, following the path of Larry Schultz method, became a certified Rocket teacher in 2016.
Manda's relationship with movement begin at the age of three... She used ballet and modern dance as a way to experiment and express herself as she traveled through her youth. Ballet gave her a deep understanding of the body but it wasn't until her very first yoga class that she was touched by the body's connection to the mind and soul.

She noticed that not only physically she was healing, but after a long period of being really shy and insecure she started feeling better in her own body. One day her teacher advised her to become a teacher.

Pamela Driessen was born in The Netherlands and raised in the tropics. Living in different countries and experiencing different cultures was very enriching and dynamic. Who am I? At a young age Royce knew his heart wish was to serve all beings. Struggling with how to implement this in every day life, he found that to truly help others, he first needed to listen to his own heart. Through experience Royce learned how easy it is to outrun yourself and ended up in a burnout in 2010.
Working the first half of her twenties as a fashion buyer, she quite soon learned the hard way that her journey through life was not based in an office. A burn-out and some life-altering decisions completely changed her vision of the meaning of life. She started a mindfulness course, increased her time spend on her yoga practice and sought guidance from a spiritual coach.
Saske started practicing yoga during her (surf)travels in 2008. After practicing yoga around the world for a year, Saske wanted more deepening and in 2010 she went to Kathmandu, Nepal for her first TTC. She was very much inspired by her teacher Chintamani Gautam, but had not found her own practice yet.

Skadi started her passion for movement at a young age. After three years of intense training and competitions, she had to let go of her Olympic dream due to various injuries on her left wrist.

She is a libra, food writer, lemon lover, and yoga teacher. Sophie Fleur first discovered yoga at Delight, back in 2012. The serene experience of space, the subtle graceful movement of the human body, and its mystic history she experienced there, instantly restored something within Sophie Fleur.

Delving deeper into yoga and meditation for about a decennium, made a pilgrimage inevitable. In 2018 she took off, roamed around, visited magical and significant places and deepened her practice at retreats.

Born in the Netherlands Tine developed a strong connection with water. In her work as a water economist it is her daily practice to re-establish the balance between nature and modern human society. Even so is balance and connection the driving force behind Tine’s yoga practice.
Dancing is breathing! Breathing is life. Valéry’s first encounter with free movement and yoga was during her education at the dance academy,later on at the conservatory. She took it on stage while performing and most important in daily life. From that humbling experience she loves to share it with everyone who feels interested.

Vera has a background in physical education, sports and theatre. She attended her first Yoga class in 2002 while studying to become an all-round theatre performer in Amsterdam. Yoga was one of several ways to keep her performer's body in shape, but after an on-stage injury, Yoga also became the way she explored her new physical state. Changes quickly started to show on levels beyond the physical.
