As everything in life, the circumstances around us are continuously changing. Like most organisations, Delight Yoga is dealing with high energy costs, increased rents and other results of the changes in our economy. As I announced in my last blog, to cover these costs it is inevitable for us to raise our prices per January 1st 2023.
At the same time it is our main priority that we keep the practice of yoga as accessible as possible. We believe that, especially in times that are insecure, the practice of yoga is more important than ever. At Delight we offer the space where you can find peace and connection to yourself. That is why - besides our unlimited memberships - we are introducing a new way of practicing at Delight: the Delight Community Membership. For only 5 euro per month you can enjoy the benefits of a Membership combined with the flexibility of a Card. We hope in this way to serve you best in keeping up your practice at Delight.

What will our new pricing structure look like?
Besides the Delight Cards, we have two types of memberships for you: the Delight Unlimited Membership and the Delight Community Membership.
Delight Unlimited membership Our Unlimited Membership is your best option if you practice with us 7 times per month or more. You can find the prices of the Delight Unlimited Membership below. As a Delight member you will have several new benefits:
- 10% discount on selected workshops
- Early booking: book your classes 3 weeks in advance
- Priority on waiting lists
- 10% discount in our shops
- Bring a friend discount
- Access to Delight Online
- All Delight Unlimited Memberships can be cancelled on a monthly basis after the commitment period has passed.
- If you already have a valid membership, there is no extra commitment period.
Delight Community Membership For those who are looking for more flexibility but also enjoy the benefits of being a member, we’ve created a new type of membership: the Delight Community Membership. For only 5 euro per month you have access to all the benefits of being a Delight Member, but with the flexibility of a Delight Card. In this way you can shape your own practice in the way that suits you best. This is your best option if you practice less than 7 times per month at Delight.

Delight Mysore Membership The Mysore Unlimited Membership gives access to the Ashtanga Mysore self practice as well as regular led classes on the schedule. Would you like to try the Ashtanga Mysore self practice? You can also join with your Delight Card.

###What else can you do to support us? Even though we have to be mindful of our resources in the upcomming period, I fully trust that together we can keep Delight warm. Here are some suggestions on what you could do to support us and move through this together:
- Bring some warm socks, a sweater or an extra blanket to class when you feel cold.
- Please fold your blankets and put away your props in a neat way after class. This saves our hosts a lot of cleaning time.
- Keep your shower time as short as possible
- When there is no host available, please be mindful about the time you spend in the lounge. Of course you can enjoy your cup of tea, but also be aware that the teacher can only start the next class when the lounge is empty and the door can be locked.
- Please be mindful of cancelling your class in time if you are not able to join. In this way you give someone else the opportunity to practice.
We are hoping that circumstances might change for the better. At the same time, I fully trust that we will make the best of it together.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you raising your prices? Like most organisations, Delight Yoga is also dealing with high energy costs, increased rents and other results of the changes in our economy. Because our energy contracts end in January and we don’t receive any support from the government, it is inevitable for us to increase our prices.
Are these price changes permanent? It is always our main objective to keep yoga as accessible as possible to everyone. If the circumstances allow it, we will be happy to lower our prices again.
What happens when I don’t communicate my membership choice for 2023 before December 16th? In this case we presume you want to continue your current product and that you agree with the increased price. You don’t have to do anything.
When does my new membership become active? It will become active in January 2023, after the last cycle of your current membership has ended. For example: your current membership cycle ends at January 22nd, then your new membership will start at January 23rd.
I want to change my Monthly Membership into a Community Membership combined with a Delight Card. What do I do? Let us know your choice by selecting the “I want a Community Membership” option in the form. We will activate it for you. When the last cycle of your Monthly Membership ends, your Community Membership is automatically activated. Now you can buy your Delight Card with discount in January.
Can I also buy a Delight Card without a Community Membership? A Delight Card can also be purchased without a Community Membership for the regular price - so without a 10% discount.
Can I join the Ashtanga Mysore program with a Community Membership? Yes, the Community Membership in combination with a Delight Card also gives access to the Ashtanga Mysore self practice program.
What is the minimal commitment for the Community Membership? The minimal commitment for a Delight Community Membership is 3 months. The membership can be cancelled monthly after this period.
I already have a monthly membership and want to switch to an unlimited membership. Do I again have a 3 month commitment? No, this only goes for new students. If you already have a monthly membership, you can cancel every month.
I currently have a yearly membership. Does the old price stay valid for 12 months? Yes the old price of your yearly membership stays the same for as long as the membership is valid.
What are the terms & conditions in regards to freezing my membership? They stay the same as the current conditions.
Are the prices of all cards purchased before January 1st 2023 honoured? Yes, all the prices of already purchased cards stay the same.
Can I also make use of the Community Membership discounts in December 2022? No, the new pricing and also the discounts will be active starting 1st of January 2023.
Does the Community Membership end automatically when my Delight Card ends? No, you will have to cancel your Community Membership by sending an email to our Community Care Department. You can cancel the Community Membership on a monthly basis after the initial commitment of 3 months.
With the new prices, isn’t it more beneficial for me to practice at Delight with OneFit or ClassPass? We have limited our available spots for OneFit and ClassPass which makes your favorite Delight classes less available through these platforms. You will also not have the community benefits, like early booking and discount on Delight Cards, selected workshops and in our shops.
I’ve used the link to change my membership, but I can’t see any changes in my MyDelight account? All changes will be processed in the system by us between December 16th and December 31st. We will send you an email when the new membership starts. This will happen somewhere in January, depending on when your current (monthly) membership ends. If you have any questions: a host in the studio can look in your account to see or change your choice for 2023.
