Special Classes

Yoga has so many more qualities than just the physical practice on the mat (asana). You may have experienced some magic during a class, leaving energized and relaxed and with a feeling of more spaciousness. But in fact, this magical feeling can stay with you when you take the practice with you off the mat. The key is to apply yoga to our daily lives and to experience the present Now in all little things we do. This might seem difficult in the beginning, but no worries, take it slow - step by step - this can be everyone's reality.

To inspire you to take yoga off the mat and support you in this yoga journey, we offer Special Classes. All special classes can be booked through the regular schedule which means they can be done with your current membership or card, or by a Delight Guest (single class payment).

Women's circle

Women's time has come now (It is women's time NOW!) to heal and reconnect with our true wisdom, we need to awake and take responsibility for our deep disappointments, hurts, pains and denials and allow the healing to take place. This inner healing is the healing of Humanity, we as women need to take the leap NOW, for the benefit of our self, our loved ones, our children and finally heal all of our relations, (and) to give back to humanity what has been lost.

Yin Special Class

Join Marije Paternotte in this rejuvenating and revitalizing special Yin Yoga Class!
Yin Yoga is a practice that emphasizes pulling and compressing of the connective tissue and the joints in the body – rather than stretching the muscles. This practice also stimulates the flow of Chi (Life Force) through the meridians and their respective organs. This is done by passively holding seated or supine postures for 3-5 minutes. Practicing in this way creates space and ease in the body, flexibility and suppleness in the joints, and will enhance your vitality and overall health. Since there is a strong meditative component to this practice, it has a calming effect on your mind and is a doorway into Mindfulness Meditation.

Vinyasa & Kundalini

Friday nights are for restoration, thoughtful movements and feeling your way back to yourself. This Kundalini class experience is designed to reduce stress and spark creativity. Class will consist of breathing exercises (pranayama), spinal strengthening (kriyas), and deep therapeutic meditations (nidra) to facilitate a complete practice. Begin your weekend feeling invigorated and sparked with creativity.

Healing Yoga

Connect to who you really are. Be free in all your bodies. Mentally, energetically and physically.
We will use different movements derived from various teachings, such as Hatha Yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong, Tibetan Buddhist Practices.

We will connect to our pelvis and spine, and learn how to move from here. Loosening the hip joints.
Use your voice to free tension in your mouth and mind, and learn how to work with blocked energy and how to free it up; purifying the nadi’s. Turn your senses inwards to experience your energy body and allow space within your mind. When your body is open, Prana (life-force) can flow and our lives become more effortless, free and happy.

Expect the unexpected from stillness to moving fully.

Osho Meditation

Before we can hope to access our inner powerhouse of consciousness, we need to let go of our tensions.   Osho Active Meditations have been scientifically designed by Osho over a period of time to enable us to consciously express and experience repressed feelings and emotions, and learn the knack of watching our habitual patterns in a new way.

Sound Bath

They wash over you, clearing away any stuck energies and bringing you back to your natural state of balance. The blend of sound healing and mindfulness helps entrain the brainwaves to downshift form normal daily consciousness to a meditative state, paving the way for creative insights and/or internal healing.

Yin with Live Music

This special Yin class offers you the possibility to combine the deep relaxation that arrives in the body and the mind from the Yin practice with beautiful live music. Staying a longer period in a pose will give you time to turn inside, to relax the muscles and reach the deep layers of the physical body. The live music will inspire your energetic body and even bring you into a different level of relaxation

Dance Meditation

Dance meditation is a form of active meditation which offers the possibility to connect to what lives inside of yourself. It is an exercise in becoming silent and witnessing yourself, the thoughts, emotions, experiences, of everything inside you. The movement allows you to think less and experience more and surrender to the wisdom of the body. In a dance meditation, the dancer will go on a journey, sometimes following the movements of the body and sometimes experiencing the effect of specific movements. Sometimes through different musical rhythms, sometimes dancing to the sound of silence.

Intuitive Dancing
