Full Moon in Pisces

by Simona Schimanovich

We have moved into earthy Virgo season. This very practical sign supports us as we return from our summer holidays, helping us get organised and find our new routines.

As the sun is in Virgo, the Full Moon on the 2nd of September will fall in the dreamy, sensitive sign of Pisces. A full moon always falls in the opposite sign – reminding us to find the right balance.

While Virgo energy is very rational and grounded, the water sign of Pisces is mystical and ethereal.

As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces is said to be the oldest, most trans-personal sign that is already more connected to higher realms. Its intuitive, dreamy energy is wonderful for all spiritual practices like meditation, chanting, and yoga.

On the other hand, Pisces fluid nature may also feel blurry and lacking in clarity. This may be more apparent during this Full Moon, as the moon will meet with Pisces' ruling planet Neptune in its home sign, amplifying the watery, emotional energy. Neptune is connected to altered states of consciousness - it is very spiritual in nature and could lean towards drugs and addiction in its lower expression.

Alongside the soothing vibes of this Pisces Full Moon, there are several more intense planetary aspects activated during this time - such as Mars in Aries in a square angle to the heavy-weight planets in Capricorn, which triggers the theme of deconstruction that is shaping this transformational year.

Support yourself by using the energy of the Full Moon to dive into your spiritual practices and connect to a deeper sense of wisdom and compassion. It will be a beautiful time to meditate and tap into your intuition in any way, such as doing a Tarot reading or receiving a healing!

Delight Yoga is offering an online New Moon Circle guided by Simona Schimanovich, where we will come together to share, support each other and set our intentions in a powerful New Moon meditation.
