Join 30 Days of Meditation during Lockdown

From our heart, we warmly welcome you to join 30 days of Meditation during this Third Lockdown from Monday 21 December to 19 January. This time - perhaps more than ever - requires us to stay Home within ourselves. We are experiencing challenging times for sure, that may trigger emotional turmoil and confusion in our minds. Let’s see this time as an invitation to reconnect to that Peace and Inner Stability that never really leaves us, no matter the circumstances.

Did you know that studies confirm that the positive intentions of a meditating group have an actual impact on society? It makes communities calmer, there are fewer traffic accidents and crime rates decrease. Even a small group can have a large effect. We started the morning Silent Sit Meditations at the beginning of the first lockdown. These past 10 months the community is growing into a sweet meditation group of dedicated beings and we would love to welcome more of you to join for the benefit of all beings!


What is Silent Sit meditation?

In the Silent Sit Meditation, we come together to set the tone of the day; everything we do will be infused with presence, honesty, and openness. Moving together towards a gentler world. In this magnificent ever-changing world, we can discover stability, deep contentment, and peace within our unchanging Self. Let's remember the essence of what we are and celebrate this precious Life. Find peace and freedom within and contribute to a more harmonious world together.

The Silent Sit Meditations will start with a guided meditation where we break away from our habitual patterns. We will start by noticing our senses, our body, and our breath. Our focus will be on following the movement of our breath through our body. This already gives a sense of ease and rest.

Then, the invitation is to allow the flow of thoughts, emotions, and feelings to take place. Not suppressing our experience, not clinging to it, or trying to alter it. We will just observe whatever comes and rest in the openness. From there, we will invite you to relax and rest in silence where we reconnect to peace, to love, to inner stability, to our unchanging Self. Silence is our essence, our true Home.


Why 30 Days of Meditation?

A 30-day period is a beautiful duration of time to create new habits in life as it is long enough for you to notice how the change affects your life. It is a great opportunity to bring our attention to what lies within on a daily basis, to become rooted and deeply familiar with our innermost Self, and gently hold every feeling, sensation, and emotion in love. Let this be our challenge for these 30 days, to invest in the habit of meditation; a habit of reconnecting with Peace.

How to join 30 Days of Meditation?

Step 1: Become a Delight Online Member or buy a 30 Days of Meditation Card
The “30 Days of Meditation” is available for all Delight Members! Not a member yet? A Delight Online Membership is €50,- per month and will give access to all the sessions of “30 Days of Meditation”. It will also give access to all other live-stream online classes of Delight Yoga and the Delight Online Library with a selection of our most popular online classes. If you are new to Delight Online, you can also start with a free 7-day trial membership.

If you want to get access to “30 days of Meditation” without becoming a Delight Online Member you can now also get the 30 Days of Meditation Card. The card will give you access to all the sessions of “30 Days of Meditation” on the schedule below, for only € 30,- (1 euro per day). Note that with this card you will not have access to the Delight Online Library or other Delight Online yoga classes.
 

Step 2: Sign up for the classes through the schedule
Once you have your Delight Membership or a  30 Days of Meditation Card, you can already sign up for the first week through the schedule. We will practice meditation together on weekdays from 08.00 - 09.00 and on the weekends and on Christmas days from 09.00 - 10.00. On the 1st of January, we will have a special class to start the New Year and on the 19th of January, we will end the 30 days of Meditation with a beautiful closing ceremony.

Note: the meditations are all via Zoom and will not be recorded due to privacy reasons. If you’re not able to make it to a particular class during these 30 days, no worries! :) We invite you to practice meditation on that day by yourself or you can practice with one of the available meditation videos in the Delight Online Library.
