During her university years, Claire always sensed that there was something more to life. After getting her law degree she traveled for 2 years, living in Rome and exploring 13 countries in Asia in search for the elusive thing she felt was missing.
From studying fashion design, having the ‘hamster wheel office job’, then cycling from Amsterdam to Sri Lanka the only thing Djinn could always go back to is Yoga. Now she knows Yoga is her home base.
A children’s workshop yoga, that’s where it all started. At the age of 13 Ellemiek attended a yogaclass where she did her first asana’s and learned the colors of the seven chakras. Even though she didn’t realize what she was actually doing at the moment she knew she found a feeling of peace and joy.
