There have been many techniques used by pregnant people in preparation for labour and delivery. Among those techniques, one stands out: using hypnosis in the birthing process. This art of birthing, called Hypnobirthing, consists of helping someone tap into their subconscious mind to release any tension which could cause a less than pleasant labour and delivery. With The Mongan Method, you will be able to summon your natural birthing instincts to safely, easily, and comfortably ease your baby into the world. This holistic birth preparation course will support you throughout your pregnancy and prepare you for labour and the early weeks after. What you will learn: The course consists of 5 weekly sessions, covering the topics of: Deep relaxation Special breathing techniques for labour Self-Hypnosis Massage techniques Visualizations Affirmations And education that supports you throughout the whole pregnancy and are there to use during labour and birth. It is important for you to be able to achieve true relaxation during this stage of your pregnancy journey. The instructor of this course, Kasia Pokrop, will share additional tips to access this state of being, such as: Poses to relieve sensations during labour Poses to relieve common pregnancy pains The Labor Circuit Positions for birthing Partner Practices to support you during labour and birth This course also offers the opportunity to prepare an individualized birth plan with Kasia in preparation for birth. Benefits of Hypnobirthing The following benefits will ensure that this special moment in your life is as seamless as possible: The Fear-Tension-Pain Syndrome is eliminated before, during and after birthing. The need for chemical anaesthesia, episiotomy and other interventions is reduced, oftentimes eliminated. Fatigue during labour is lessened. By using breathing techniques rather than pushing, the risk of pelvic floor damage is reduced. The birthing companion is an integral part of the birthing, not an onlooker. Babies are better adjusted and happier, resulting in better eating and sleeping routines. And more... An investment of € 375,- per couple includes: Around 12-12½ hours of tuition in 5 HypnoBirthing sessions for mum and birth companion in a small group HypnoBirthing relaxation audio tracks Handouts & materials for the course Tailored Birth preferences for individual needs Contact with Kasia via email/telephone for the duration of the course, but also before and after for any questions Requirements for Participation You are eligible to start this course after the 14th week of your pregnancy, and not later than the 35th week.
