Super Full Moon in Libra
by Simona Schimanovich
In the midst of Aries season and the turbulent times we are moving through, the Full Moon in Libra on April 8th brings our relationships into focus. A Super Full Moon, it is very close to the Earth and it will be the brightest full moon of the year.
It shines its message clearly – that we are all in this together.
Libra is an air sign that is all about connection, harmony, and the partnerships in our lives. While we are in the midst of this internal time of physical isolation, we can still use technology to be just as connected as before, if not even more so. Let’s reach out and see how we can support each other as we navigate these intense times together.
Full Moons bring completion and release - the Libra Full Moon might also stir things up in our relationships and highlight any weaknesses that need to be healed. It can create the opportunity to shift and turn things around, or if necessary, it can bring the clarity you need to move on.
Our current emotional state will also be amplified– so be gentle with yourself and reach out for support. This is a time to practice self-care and compassion for yourself and to others.
Much of what is happening around us can be seen in the skies with potent planetary alignments taking place throughout 2020. This year has been predicted to be a year of massive transformation and rebirth (with Jupiter, the planet of expansion, and Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth, coming together at the moment).
We have now collectively gone into our cocoons and are being transformed on a deep cellular level. There is no going back into the old times of the caterpillar. We will emerge like a butterfly from its cocoon – completely reborn.
