Alignment Yoga for Pregnancy and Birth

This comprehensive course offers you the chance to get in-form-ed on how to align body and mind in preparation for a positive birth experience, wherever you would like to birth.


Kamini Stam believes that an empowering birthing experience is a very important kick-off to a woman’s journey towards becoming a mother. It is an experience that they will remember for the rest of their days, and if empowered by it, they will realise their strength, from deep within. A strength we all have, a strength we all share.


Kamini’s passion for teaching pregnant women on how to align for labour and birth is rooted in her belief that informing expecting mothers about the alignment of body, mind, and spirit will bring them closer to being empowered by the birth of their babies and themselves as a mama.

What you will learn in this course:

  • Adapting ‘daily life’ movements to your pregnant body
  • Moving safely through pregnancy, labour and birth
  • Various breathing techniques
  • Neutral pelvic alignment
  • Freeing up the birthing space
  • Various birthing positions/moves
  • Pushing techniques


The course is suitable for pregnant women from around 20 weeks onwards.

Kamini has always had a passion for movement. As a kid she was always outside, exploring her boundaries; climbing, dancing, moving!
