Introduction to Qigong

Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing system of energy cultivation, which has been used for centuries to promote health, spiritual development, and as the foundation of martial arts.
This workshop will begin with an introduction to the history and principles of Qigong. Then students will be led through a practice that includes gentle movement, breath awareness, self-massage, and meditation.
While sharing aims with Indian Yoga, Qigong has much to offer the modern yoga practitioner. Qigong’s emphasis on intention, effortless action, subtle energy, and harmony with nature can greatly enhance yoga practice, supporting sustainability, ease, and optimal energy flow. Its effects are feeling grounded, balanced, and full of calm and clear energy.

Over Francesca Gobeille

Francesca Gobeille is al sinds haar geboorte omgeven door Oosterse filosofie en spiritualiteit. Haar vader was in de jaren 1980 yoga- en meditatie leraar en ook haar moeder beoefent yoga.
