Lu Jong Tibetan Healing Yoga

Lu Jong Tibetan Yoga is a practice for health and happiness: effective, playful, gentle and powerful at the same time. Lu means “body” and Jong means “training” or “transformation”. We use our body as a vehicle for inner transformation, a key to reveal our hidden potential.
Lu Jong is rooted in the diamond teachings of Tibet and in Tibetan Medicine and contains amazing wisdom of how the body, breath, heart, mind, and natural cycles work together.
Combining position, flowing movements, and breath, we will create a passage that opens the body in a special way. We will work with our subtle body, opening our channels, so energy and essence flow smoothly.
At the same time, we will cultivate awareness. We balance the five-element energies, take good care of our spine and joints, vital organs, digestion and feel our inner power. Lu Jong brings us here and now. It energizes us, it boosts our health. Our mind becomes calm and clear, and we can tap into our inner guidance, our innate wisdom. We recognize we are love, we are happiness.
What you will learn:
This workshop will give you a good introduction to Lu Jong and it is a beautiful opportunity to feel the whole series. At the same time, it is interesting and beneficial for advanced practitioners to deepen their practice.
The Lu Jong 1 series consists of 21 movements including the 5 Elements, Body Parts, Vital Organs, and a group of movements that we call 6 Conditions – movements with specific benefits for health and happiness.
In this workshop, you will be guided by Lu Jong Teacher Trainer Mariette de Kroon. Lu Jong is accessible for all ages and abilities, and it is easy to integrate into daily life.

Over Mariette de Kroon
Na haar studie in business management volgde Mariette spontaan retraitedagen bij de Dalai Lama in Zuidfrankrijk. Via stoelmassage op kantoor raakte ze geïnteresseerd in Shiatsu en de taal van body & mind.
