Tibetan Yoga: Introduction Into The Powerful Advanced Series

Lu Jong Tibetan Yoga is a practice for health and happiness: effective, playful, gentle and powerful at the same time. Lu means “body” and Jong means “training” or “transformation”. We use our body as a vehicle for inner transformation, a key to reveal our hidden potential.
Lu Jong is rooted in the diamond teachings of Tibet and in Tibetan Medicine and contains amazing wisdom of how the body, breath, heart, mind, and natural cycles work together.
Combining position, flowing movements, and breath, we will create a passage that opens the body in a special way. We will work with our subtle body, opening our channels, so energy and essence flow smoothly.
At the same time, we will cultivate awareness. We balance the five-element energies, take good care of our spine and joints, vital organs, digestion and feel our inner power. Lu Jong brings us here and now. It energizes us, it boosts our health. Our mind becomes calm and clear, and we can tap into our inner guidance, our innate wisdom. We recognize we are love, we are happiness.
What you will learn:
Lu Jong II (advanced series) continues on the foundation of Lu Jong I (primary series). Lu Jong II empowers, further strengthens the 5 elements, musculoskeletal system, and promotes the absorption of vital nutrients.
With the help of body position, movement, breath, and awareness, we open up and discover deeper layers of ourselves. As you may know, we need to be strong for absolute happiness. Being strong also means to open our hearts.
These series help to feel this strength to go beyond illusion and to be home in happiness. Our health is enhanced on all levels: physically, energetically and mentally. The Body and Mind work together harmoniously, so we can feel more of our full potential.
Lu Jong II consists of 3 groups of movements:
- Group 1: Five Movements for prevention
- Group 2: Five Movements to alleviate or remove pain
- Group 3: Five Movements for a good distribution of vital nutrients
In this half-day workshop, we will start exploring Lu Jong II. Regarding the movements we will do, there are a few options on how to do it – according to our abilities - we will see in the workshop how much we will cover.
