Join Sahaj in this 50-hour training as he guides you on a journey of awakening and a deepening of your awareness of yourself on an experiential level.
Sahaja Healing Yoga is a series of practices synthesized from Tibetan Yoga, Chinese Qi Gong, Hatha Yoga, Tibetan medicine and Ayurveda. “Sahaja” is a Sanskrit word meaning "spontaneous and natural", meaning the source of healing is within us as a natural spontaneous expression of connection and balance.
Kevin Sahaj has spent his whole adult life studying various systems of healing and yoga and has compiled, sequenced, and created these practices based on his understanding of how they integrate and balance each other. The practices are simple and easy to learn, anyone - regardless of age and experience - can benefit by following these methods.
Essentially, healing yoga works more on the energetic level, therefore it is more subtle. To access healing we need to work with the pranic energies in the body in relation to our life in the external world. If we can facilitate the harmonious flow of energy in our body, we start to heal physical, emotional, and mental disturbances and find a meaningful and creative outer and inner life.
What you will learn:
The Sahaja Healing Yoga module is for yoga teachers who would like to teach parts of the healing yoga sequences, or anyone who is interested in the subtle aspects of healing and prana. It will be a journey of awakening and a deepening of our awareness of ourselves on an experiential level.
We will cover:
- Practical and relevant Buddhist and yogic philosophy to support your spiritual practice
- Learning the Sahaja healing yoga sequence using sound and mantra as a way of awakening Prana
- Powerful and subtle techniques from Tibetan Yoga, Qi Gong and Yoga to harmonize, unblock and open the energy channels and prana in the body, energy, and mind.
- Using Prana to heal others, practical healing tools to help others
- Dream Yoga and the practice of lucid dreaming
- Sacred Sexuality and sexual practices for intimate relationships as a spiritual practice
- Personal direction on your spiritual journey and using the training to unblock obstacles in your spiritual path.
- Meditations to connect, revitalize and open the wisdom within.
- And much more.
An established, (preferably daily) regular practice of Yoga, or Qi Gong and meditation (min. 1 year).
- Awakening the Sacred Body by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche (required book to read prior to the start of the program).
Other books will be recommended for deepening study during the course.
Since last autumn, several large training programs and even two 10-day retreats by Sahaj (& Satya) have taken place online, with transformational results and feedback from our students. Sahaj has found and proven creative ways to offer the same practices in such a way as if he were in the same room with you. We also chose to continue in an online setting as this training is part of our Advanced Teacher Training, and we don’t want to delay our students further.

"It has been a very interesting and challenging year for all of us and we have had to make many changes and adaptations because of the Covid pandemic. For myself this year has been an opportunity to experiment and use the online teaching format as a teaching option, and to my amazement and pleasure, this format is very useful and great in so many ways. It has been a year of online teachings for Satya and myself and we have found the format just as meaningful, powerful, and effective as teaching live classes. Of course, there is a difference between being in person and meeting through the etheric cyberspace but that difference is only that, a difference. I understand that some of you might be disappointed that we cannot meet in person this year but I want you to know that the teachings I am giving are independent of us being together in person. The real power of what I am giving in this course has to do with your own practice, and this in no way is affected by an online or in-person format. So what I am saying, in essence, is that let's do this together and live what my teacher Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche always told us: “we must work with the circumstance”.

In the online lessons, Sahaj will guide you using the online application ‘Zoom’. Zoom is a live streaming platform with many interactive features - it provides a shared space for students, teachers, and assistants. Delight Yoga has been using Zoom to organize live-streamed classes, workshops, and training days and we have had very positive experiences with it.
Zoom allows you to participate in the training from home, but you can ask questions and connect with teachers and other students as if you were in the same physical location.
The workshop will take place through Zoom from 8:00 - 11:30 and 15:00 - 18:30 (time in between is free)
