Yoga & Healing: Introduction to Sahaja Healing Yoga - Online

The Sahaja Healing Yoga introduction is for those who would like to learn a simple and easy sequence of practices that will help you reconnect to your vital energy, awaken your spiritual life and heal your Body, Energy and Mind. The practices in the course are very accessible and easy to learn. Anyone, regardless of age and experience, can benefit by following these methods and practising them regularly at home.

 

Sahaja Healing Yoga is a series of practices synthesised from Tibetan Yoga, Chinese Qi Gong, Hatha Yoga, Tibetan medicine, and Ayurveda. Sahaja is a Sanskrit word that translates to "spontaneous and natural", meaning the source of healing is within us as a natural spontaneous expression of connection and balance.

What you will learn:

This workshop will be offered by Kevin Sahaj, one of Delight Yoga's most experienced teachers in the field of energetic work, who has dedicated his life towards guiding his students in their healing and awakening journey. He has spent his whole adult life studying various systems of healing and yoga and has compiled, sequenced and created these practices based on his understanding of how they integrate and balance each other. Sahaj is one of the lead teachers of our Teacher Training Academy.

 

This workshop is a great opportunity for students in Amsterdam to learn from him for the first time, or to reconnect with his teachings.

 

Topics we will cover:

  • Learning the basic Sahaja healing yoga sequence
  • Using sound and mantra as a way of awakening Prana
  • Meditations to connect, revitalise and open the wisdom within
  • Practical and relevant Buddhist and yogic philosophy to support your spiritual practice

Online Format

In the online format, Sahaj will guide you through the online application ‘Zoom’. Zoom is a live streaming platform with many interactive features - it provides a shared space for students, teachers, and assistants. Delight Yoga has been using Zoom to organise live-streamed classes, workshops, and training days and we have had great experiences with it.

 

Zoom allows you to participate in the training from home, but you can ask questions and connect with teachers and other students as if you were in the same physical location.

Health & Well-Being

Because this is a course on Healing Yoga, your current health and health background is very important to us to assess your needs and also to be aware of any precautions or adaptations of the Healing Yoga practices that may be needed for you personally. The information you provide is confidential and will not be shared with others.

Over Kevin Sahaj

Kevin Sahaj wijdt zijn leven al 30 jaar aan het bestuderen en beoefenen van yoga. Zijn manier van lesgeven is eclectisch: hij maakt gebruik van veel verschillende methodes om zijn studenten te helpen bij hun streven naar verlichting.
