Restorative Yoga Training

35 Hour

A 35-Hour Relax and Restore Intensive Yoga Training

To ‘rest’, to ‘relax’ and to ‘restore’ is a natural vital process in our lives. Rest supports optimal physiological functioning and promotes healing and growth.

During rest, one’s autonomic nervous system switches from sympathetic-dominance to parasympathetic-dominance, regeneration, and restoration is accelerated. Research has shown that relaxation and rest are essential to everyone of all ages and cultures, size and shape.

"Restorative Yoga is a Relaxation practice for Conscious Deep Rest. Rest is not self-indulgence, Rest is not optional; Rest is self-preservation, Rest is respect for life."
-Adelene Cheong

"This course was exceptional. The level of detail and knowledge was outstanding. The structure and delivery was very well thought out. There was depth and substance in terms of facilitating a well-rounded learning experience for students. There was a perfect balance between a humanistic, person-centred developmental learning experience and the experience of building on knowledge, learning new skills and refining our craft as a Restorative yoga teacher. Adelene is an exceptional teacher and a beautiful person. I am deeply grateful and will attend more of her trainings. "
