The practice of physical Asana accompanied by Pranayama (breathing techniques) is a perfect preparation for meditation. The purpose of yoga Asana and Pranayama is to prepare the body and mind to sit for meditation.  If you try to sit for meditation at the beginning of yoga practice, you will likely notice your mind is easily distracted and your body is not very comfortable. The yoga asana and pranayama practice that you will learn during this weekend is designed to bring more comfort to your body and mind. Leave the chaos and clutter of daily life behind and step into the tranquil, restorative space of this retreat.  Asana, pranayama and meditation are powerful tools that will take you to a state of profound relaxation, dissolve fatigue and accumulated stress and renew your creativity and passion for life. 


In 2018 we will continue our weekends in the beautiful Yogabee villa in Domburg in the province of Zeeland. This house is located close to the sea (only a 10-minute walk) and has a great garden, yoga shala and even an indoor pool and sauna. You can choose from 9 weekends, all with a different theme and purpose.

Being away from it all, reconnecting with nature, spending time with new people that inspire you, practicing yoga intensively, eating pure food and at the same time, plenty of time to go to the beach, enjoy a massage or simply read a book in the garden. It’s your weekend – we simply make it an unforgettable one!
