The Mind Retreat

with Katiza Satya & Kevin Sahaj

An unique opportunity to dive within the Infinite Universe of the Mind
guided by Katiza Satya & Kevin Sahaj in a 10 days retreat

This Retreat is a silent 10 days training where we’ll investigate the Mind as true scientist within our own laboratory. The philosophical ground of practice will be base in non-dual practices, Buddhism and Tantra. We will take the foundation of mindfulness practice and go deeper into meditation techniques that will firmly establish you in your awareness and presence. This is the root and beginning of seeing the greater purpose that is guiding our lives.

We become aware that our lives as yoga practitioners are a gift of service towards others, allow Compassion to arise has a natural expression of the mind when relax an open. This goes beyond our own self-interest. Deep seated unconscious emotional patterns and areas of non-clarity in the mind must be illuminated and purified to go into the real next level of awakening. Clearing the energy body’s chakras and pathways to open the mind will create the conditions for deep self-inquiry in this level of allowing the true face to appear.

This retreat is for ripening and going deeper. All practices before this are merely a preparation, a cleaning of the temple of body and mind to make space for the opening of our true nature. Here the true yogi starts to be born.

Location: Mandali Retreat Center

This retreat is hosted at the Mandali Retreat Center. Mandali is a peaceful retreat centre, established on a mountaintop, overlooking lago d’Orta in Italy. It is an open space dedicated to spiritual practice and personal transformation. Mandali provides an optimal environment to exchange and receive teachings, wisdom and guidance from some of the world’s most inspiring teachers.
The location is a result of an extended search. When the founders saw the view from the mountain top, it accelerated their hearts. They realised they had found the perfect place. Building this place is their dream and heartfelt intention; to create a place of quiet beauty, to learn and to relax.
They builded this place from scratch, you can have a look at the making off video here (very impressive!). It's architecture is a faithful reflection of the ancient villages by which it is surrounded. The centre breathes a soothing, serene atmosphere and offers its guests a guiding hand. You will fall in love with nature, find balance in the elements and feel harmony with your true self.
"We believe that to spend time in retreat is a necessity for anyone interested in a balanced way of living. We look forward to welcoming you at Mandali." - The Mandali team

Mandali is set 850 meters above sea level, overlooking lago d’ Orta in Italy, the site faces southeast, enjoying the morning sun rising over the Mottarone mountain range across the lake. The classic feng shui dream of enjoying the inspiration of the sun, lake, and valley in front of you, whilst being supported and protected by the buildings, trees, and gardens behind is a functioning reality at Mandali. If you decide to go off of the retreat center to feel into the local villages and cuisine, there is much to take in and to taste.
