Each day consist of a more energetic vinyasa flow and a restorative afternoon yin session. The combination of accessible Yin & Yang Yoga and breath-work will teach you how to recognize stress in your body and how to reduce it. Besides that, you’ll receive practical tools to intervene before stress takes over. The tools you will be learning are directly applicable in your daily life, easy and necessary. 

Jasmijn works with the breath as our breath is very powerful, it's our life line. And learning to breathe deeper and more aware has numerous benefits for both physical and emotional well-being.

Knowing that every human and body is unique, Jasmijn will make sure you will get the most out of this relaxing and invigorating week. She is specialized in personal adjustment and breath work. During this retreat Jasmijn will guide you through six key instructions that -once mastered- will keep you safe in about eighty percent of all yoga postures.

For me a retreat is literally and figuratively an investment - and can be expensive. But my experience is - and I see this also happening to others - that people return happier and more freely. More connected with oneself, more in touch with others and astonished with their surroundings. The stillness and different perception of time calms your mind and makes space for inspiration and creativity. I often sleep better and longer, feel less stressed and more vital at the end of the week.

A pause, even if it's just for one week, gives me the opportunity to really feel how I am doing. How I want to live a meaningful life. This reflection give me a refreshed and unlimited joy, which make me ready for a new purposeful time of my life. My purpose is to give you this experience at this Yoga and Breath Essentials retreat.

About the teacher Jasmijn Koelink

Trained in social and organizational psychology, Jasmijn was thrilled to discover yoga at age 25. A few years later she completed the vinyasa ashtanga yoga teacher training (300+ hrs). She has been teaching yoga ever since: vinyasa flow, yin yoga, yin flow and slow flow. Her teaching style, both in intensive vinyasa and yin yoga, is inspired by yoga teacher Max Strom, who centers yoga practice around the breath. Jasmijn regularly attends workshops with different teachers to deepen her insight and practice, as well as her teaching skills.
Jasmijns teaching is characterized by her friendly approach and intensive individual guidance, as she offers modifications in accordance with students’ physical capabilities. Emphasizing breath-work, her classes are both intense and relaxing. A dedicated meditator herself, Jasmijn integrates meditation in her classes by allowing space for stillness in and between poses.
Thai yoga massage and specific therapeutic forms of yoga are the subjects she is currently engaged with. Besides, she collaborates with author Geertje Couwenbergh in workshops combining yoga and creative writing. These workshops are regularly offered at Delight Yoga.


Location: Mandali Retreat Center

This retreat is hosted at the Mandali Retreat Center. Mandali is a peaceful retreat centre, established on a mountaintop, overlooking lago d’Orta in Italy. It is an open space dedicated to spiritual practice and personal transformation. Mandali provides an optimal environment to exchange and receive teachings, wisdom and guidance from some of the world’s most inspiring teachers.
The location is a result of an extended search. When the founders saw the view from the mountain top, it accelerated their hearts. They realised they had found the perfect place. Building this place is their dream and heartfelt intention; to create a place of quiet beauty, to learn and to relax. 
They builded this place from scratch, you can have a look at the making off video here (very impressive!). It's architecture is a faithful reflection of the ancient villages by which it is surrounded. The centre breathes a soothing, serene atmosphere and offers its guests a guiding hand. You will fall in love with nature, find balance in the elements and feel harmony with your true self.

Mandali is set 850 meters above sea level, overlooking lago d’ Orta in Italy, the site faces southeast, enjoying the morning sun rising over the Mottarone mountain range across the lake. The classic feng shui dream of enjoying the inspiration of the sun, lake, and valley in front of you, whilst being supported and protected by the buildings, trees, and gardens behind is a functioning reality at Mandali. If you decide to go off of the retreat center to feel into the local villages and cuisine, there is much to take in and to taste.

How to get there? 
It's easy to get at Mandali or at the Mandali Retreat Centre; you fly to Malpensa International Airport (MXP) and from there you can get a transfer to Mandali, which will only take about 60 minutes.

During this retreat, you will enjoy three daily delicious vegetarian meals, which will consist of a light breakfast of fruit and tea, a brunch, and dinner.


Things to do (optional)
During your free time, you can enjoy your own rhythm and choose what suits you best. Relax in your room, take a forest walk, enjoy the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, or take a swim in the heated indoor swimming pool.


Spa treatments
A good massage can feel wonderful, help integrate all level of experience, and liberate your body from the tightness and holdings that keep pulling you backwards.

There are various types of massages available at Mandali’s Body Care Center, such as Lomi Lomi (traditional Hawaiian), deep tissue massage, cranial sacral, and intuitive bodywork.

Massage sessions can be booked at an additional cost. Full information on the massage type and therapist of your choice can be obtained at the reception.
