Active Meditation

In order to live a more fulfilled life, you will want to get to know your full potential, your true Self. Meditation is the route to that knowing. It is the methodology of the science of awareness.

 

The beauty of the inner science is that it enables whoever wants to explore and to experiment within, to do so alone. This eliminates dependence on an outer authority, the need to be affiliated with any organization and the obligation to accept a certain ideology. Once you understand the steps, you walk the walk in your own, individual way.

 

Many meditative techniques require one to sit still and silent. But for most of us, accumulated stress in our body and mind makes that difficult. Accumulated tension blocks the natural flow of energy in the body; this affects the way we think and how we relate to others. Before we can hope to access our inner powerhouse of consciousness, we need to let go of our tensions.

What you will learn:
 

An active meditation starts with physical activity such as conscious breathing, shaking, dancing, or "humming", and is followed by phases of relaxation and stillness. During this silence, meditation is possible; a time to be aware of your body sensations, thoughts and feelings, in an accepting way without judgement.

 

These special classes are based on Osho's famous Active Meditations which have been scientifically designed by Osho to enable us to consciously express and experience repressed feelings and emotions, and learn the knack of watching our habitual patterns in a new way.

 

Join Ilanit from 20:00 - 21:30 at our Nieuwe Achtergracht studio.

 

This active meditation will last one hour and are accompanied by specially created music with live singing bowls.
