Astanga Practice (XL) - Online
13 June 2020 Go to schedule
Treat yourself to an extra long practice time, sharing this virtual space with a group of dedicated Astanga Yoga practitioners under the guidance of our experienced teachers Claudia & Eva!
The intention of this workshop is to provide a supporting structure for regular students to deepen his or her Sadhana and to connect to other practitioners and teachers, so to share knowledge and experience with this practice. We will offer a variety of techniques which will help you integrate other aspects of Astanga Yoga into your daily routine, bringing attention to all eight limbs of the Astanga Yoga method and their relevance to our daily lives.
We will connect via Zoom and guide you through a sitting meditation, through a Pranayama sequence (breathing practices) and a full primary series led class. After a little rest, there will be time for discussion, sharing and Q&A's. We aim at offering this workshop monthly, for the time being, while the shala is closed, focusing on a different aspect every month. This is generally the way we work in our year-long program Astanga Sadhana, which will start again in January 2021.
Astanga practitioners of any levels are welcome. You do not need to know the full primary series (we will ask you to stop where you generally stop), but we expect you to be familiar with (part of) the series through led classes or your own self-practice. Not suitable for complete beginners.
Please note that this workshop will be held via Zoom and we will ask you to have your screen on as we need to see you during practice to be able to guide you properly and in a way which is relevant for you.
You can register for this workshop by clicking ‘Book’ and paying online with iDeal, Credit Card or PayPal. Full payment is required to ensure your place. Registration is confirmed when payment is complete.
Are you entitled to a refund of the registration fee in case of cancellation? Please read article 16 ‘Cancellation of Workshop Registration’ in our General Terms and Conditions to know exactly where you stand.
