Ayurveda & Patanjali: Using the ancient texts in daily life

With Victoria (Tory) Hyndman

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is a body of wisdom bound into verses to give guidance on how to live a fulfilled, healthy, joyful life with awakening to our True Nature.

In this workshop we will look at these sutras (verses) through the lens of Ayurveda, to give us a deeper insight into how we can make these tips even more supportive in our individual life. Ayurveda teaches us about the different bodies we all have and how they, therefore, give us different characteristics.

These characteristics offer us benefits to enjoy physically and mentally but can also give us some challenging areas to focus on. Once we discover this we get to know our self deeper and see more clearly thereby giving us the wisdom to liberate ourself from past sufferings and emotional unsupporting habits. Students of yoga and Ayurveda will deepen their studies but also those who have never studied Ayurveda or Yoga will enjoy this workshop as it focuses on life, which we all experience through choices made in daily life.
