Ayurveda & Yoga: Preventing Winter Blues

As the leaves are drying and changing colour and it is getting colder we need to adjust our habits to adjust our body to the change of the season. According to Ayurveda, what happens around us, influences what happens inside us. Ayurveda provides us the guidelines to live according to the cycles of nature. Autumn and early winter are the season of Vata.


In this workshop we will:

  • Focus on staying warm and balanced for the colder season

  • See which lifestyle and diet changes are needed to stay in balance

  • Have an understanding of the benefit of daily oil massage (abhyanga) in this season

  • Do a slow, calming and grounding yoga practice to calm vata
