This 3-day Ayurveda: The Secret of Daily Routine workshop is a beautiful and useful way to support yourself in creating a healthy routine. In this workshop, you will be guided through Ayurvedic lifestyle suggestions in terms of daily routine, seasonal routine and physical exercise.

This includes some very basic Ayurvedic yoga theory and practice as well as guidance on how to use a tongue scraper, nose drops and eye powders.

Program Outline

During this 3-day workshop we will dive into the basic principles of Ayurvedic daily and seasonal routine. You will be empowered to create a simple and doable daily routine for yourself in a hands-on way.

Ayurvedic Dinacharya or daily routine is about how to support the flow of Prana in your life as well as in your physiology. In your body your Prana is being actively applied to organic processes – such as digestion, sleeping, feeling – by way of the three doshas: vata, pitta and kapha.

Your relation with the three doshas in general, and in particular in relation to your constitution, is key to finding a better flow in and managing your life. This covers both your physical as well your mental-emotional life & health.

Dinacharya or daily routine always forms one of the first chapters in the ancient big Ayurveda texts of lore. This indicates that in Ayurveda a good and steady routine is given prime importance, even before nutrition and herbs, if it comes to maintaining or restoring optimal health.

We will dive into several important aspects of daily routine, such as: When to get up, when and how to exercise, when to eat, when to go to bed, when to have sex, etc. In a playful and open-minded way: no “shoulds” involved!

  • Introduction to the basic principles of Ayurveda
  • How to understand Ayurvedic daily and seasonal routine
  • How to support the flow of your Prana with a customized regime & routine
  • How to support your ‘agni’ or digestive fire with an effective routine
  • How to use some tools, such as tongue scraper, nose dropper, eye powders as part of your morning routine
  • How the three doshas and your constitution is related to your lifestyle habits
  • How to adjust your lifestyle and routine in terms of speed, jobs, sports, & yoga practice
  • This 3-day Ayurvedic workshop is a slow paced, informative classed, designed to take a dive into the world of Ayurvedic Living based on the ancient knowledge and traditions and preparing you for other Ayurveda courses within Delight, such as the extensive Nutrition Courses (60 hrs), Foundation on Ayurveda (50 hrs) and the 4-years HBO-Bachelor level Ayurveda Practitioner Training.
