This workshop has taken place already, please visit our Workshop Page for a more recent offering of workshops and trainings.
Wintertime offers many wonderful festivities and gatherings. However, as it is the season of less sunlight in the days, after a while, we can start feeling heavy and emotionally stuck or depressed.
Thanks to Ayurveda, we can understand the qualities that are more present in the winter, and thereby understand how and why we might be feeling a certain way.
Once we know how to recognize when the qualities of heaviness become too much, resulting in physical or mental imbalances, we can shift our daily routine a bit to then lighten up and use this time of inner festivities and not let the cold and dark days get to us.
What you will learn:
With guidance from Victoria (Tory), you will learn helpful tips and tricks to get through the dark days.
We will start the day with a yoga and pranayama practice for this season.
In the afternoon, we will look into all the different ways we can use food, herbs, mantra, movement, pranayama, colours, sounds, and smells to lighten ourselves up.
