During this 3-day workshop, we will dive into the basic principles of Ayurvedic nutrition and how to prepare a typical Ayurvedic meal. Ayurvedic cooking and eating is about how to digest a meal in an optimal way. You will learn about the three doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) and how these relate to constitution. We will play with quality pairs - such as cold-warm, oily-dry, heavy-light - in relation to ourselves, environment and foods.
In Ayurveda, healthy food is considered a medicine and it pleases the senses as well. We will explore the six different tastes and their effects, while at the same time looking into the importance of our digestive fire or ‘agni’.
