Ayurvedic Marma Point Massage: Workshop for couples

With Victoria (Tory) Hyndman

Intimacy through loving touch

This workshop is intended for couples to be in a sacred space to dive deeper into intimacy with each other through the loving touch of Marma therapy.

The Sanskrit word Marma means “Secret point”.  These sacred and secret points located on the top of the skin are energetically connected to specific organs, which carry trapped emotions. According to Ayurveda, our skin has seven layers, each one directly connected to a corresponding tissue.

In daily relationships, we can hold or suppress emotions. This suppression can start to build up oppression and block clear and loving communication between each other. Through communication through loving touch and the deep healing and transformative power of Ayurvedic Marma point massage, we feel safe and supported with each other. It also has a heart-opening quality. We become the pure loving and open space that is our true nature, ready to re-connect deeply with our lover.

You will learn and practice on each other a one-hour treatment of Marma point massage on the face, neck, head, shoulders and chest.
