In 2015, a catastrophic earthquake wreaked havoc on Nepal. In the quake’s aftermath, Manose, along with Deva Premal and Miten, created Gayatri Fund to support rebuilding of lives and homes in hard-hit areas. The Fund continues to help needy communities in Nepal, with a focus on women and children. All proceeds from this event will go to these special projects.
Ilanit and Manose went to see and help the Nepali people in 2015 after these quake's, in Kathmandu. Ilanit had the idea to continue the help the Nepali woman and Children in organising a Benefit Concert with Manose in Amsterdam. This year will be 5th Benefit Concert and many more beautiful projects were born out of this. The proceeds of this concert will go to the Midwifery Project that Gayatri Fund started for young women from the Badi Community. Badi girls are invisible and castless in Nepal, we help them to get a nursery study to become midwifes and help their people in the villages where they come from.
