Meditation Course: (Re)discover Love

Soak yourself in loving-kindness! Loving kindness is a meditation practice that cultivates our natural capacity for an open and loving heart. This simple meditation practice expands and deepens our natural capacity for kindness and open heartedness leading to greater presence, connection and resilience.  The course will explore love for ourselves (which we often skip over or neglect) as well as love for others. You will leave empowered with your own personal loving kindness phrases and the confidence to bring this powerful practice of love into your everyday life.


The course will run for six weeks and it includes:

  • the actual weekly class offering an opportunity to learn new aspects of the meditation practice, time to practice together as a group, as well as space to share experiences and ask questions.
  • a suggested practice programme for the week in-between the classes including access to guided meditations on audio, as well as practical tips, resources and advice for integrating the practice into your daily life.

Previous students have found that the interaction and connections they make with their fellow meditators in the courses is incredibly rich, and also that having a practice focus for the week helps bring the benefits of the practice into their everyday experience, including their other yoga classes!

Week 1: Connecting with the Spark of Love

Week 2: Loving Kindness for Ourselves

Week 3: Loving Kindness for a Close Friend

Week 4: Loving Kindness for a “Neutral” Person, those we don’t usually notice

Week 5: Loving Kindness for a “Difficult” Person, someone you find personally challenging

Week 6: Expanding Our Love (for all beings, for the earth and so on, without limit)

Group size 

The course will be intimate in size (max 12 people) so there will be lots of opportunity for personal attention in a warm, gentle, open and safe atmosphere infused with the spirit of self-compassion.


It is helpful if students have had some previous experience in meditation as a basis for this course.
