Meeting the Heart: A 3-Day Program - Online

This is a great opportunity for everyone with any yoga practice interested in discovering and meeting their own heart and looking for further guidance and inspiration: a 3-day online program guided by Satya Katiza and Kevin Sahaj.

 

The Meeting The Heart program gives you the opportunity to explore the unconditional loving aspects of yourself. The yoga of devotion is the yoga of love, the easiest and most direct way to access your true reality.

 

It will connect you to life directly and give you a steady foundation in life and existence. This ground and steadiness are needed to become what is called a living "yogi or yogini". In this way, all yoga practices or even any life activity can ultimately become an individual practice of love.

 

We call this program “The Heart” because that is the physical location of our energy and our true Self. It is through the heart that we fully open ourselves to develop pure devotion and longing for liberation.

What you will learn:

During this program, Satya and Sahaj will draw from several wisdom traditions to offer you 3 days of online practices ranging from asana, pranayama, meditation, healing, Taoist chi-kung, shamanic healing, and Buddhism, to chanting, rituals, and philosophy.

 

We will begin exploring and realigning the physical body with the breath, experiencing the connection between the body and mind. We will then introduce the more subtle body/energy practices. The philosophical ground of practice will be based on the Bhagavad Gita.

 

We will be using yoga practices that help us to de-code, uncover, and work on removing the walls that keep us from being aware of our true wisdom nature. The practices will affect the nervous system, and this will change the patterns of the energy flow in the body.

 

We will get insights into how the energy in the body works, and how energy, body, and mind are intimately connected. The subtle body is composed of energy pathways called Nadis, and areas of focused life energy called chakras. When these channels and areas are clear, our awareness becomes clear like the sky.

 

Through the immersion into the teachings of these very gifted and experienced teachers, from the sacred space of your home, you will come out with a clearer understanding of yourself, your practice and your dharma - this program will open your heart and blow your mind.

This program is the ideal preparation for everyone interested in joining The Heart Retreat, or former participants wishing to refresh the practices of The Heart Retreat, a 10-day retreat guided by Satya & Sahaj. Satya Katiza Satya Katiza is a yogini in heart and soul. She is An experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (ERYT500-RYT 500) and licensed to certify students at the 200 & 500 hour levels.
