Sacred Resonance : Sound Healing
27 June 2019 Go to schedule
Sacred Resonance offers a deeply nourishing restorative yoga practice attuned to the body’s innate wisdom and regenerative healing potential, blending breath, classical asana and yin and restorative movement, with Vocal Toning, Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing. This will help you to unwind stored tension to release and tune the mind, body and spirit to a state of balance and peace.
Sacred Resonance offers a profound 2 hour guided journey that will gently, lovingly and deeply relax, restore and recenter your being to its soulful essence.
Join yogini and Sound Healing Artist Eva Aourah for a magical sensory journey where we first gently activate and stimulate the vital flowing currents in our body. Then we’ll lay down for deep relaxation and surrender into rest to receive the harmonic frequencies and healing sound waves of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, medicine drums, voice and violin.
Sound is one of the oldest and most natural forms of healing. The sound waves of certain Instruments and human voice (especially our own!) resonate and travel directly into our cellular memory, moving through our tissues and organs. This will help us release deep rooted tensions and blockages and entrain the brain to move into the deeper alpha, theta and delta brain wave frequencies, inducing a deep meditative, clear and peaceful state.
“Tones themselves correspond with and affect specific areas of the body. The ancients understood that a simple sound could reorganise the body’s structure. Sounds that are harmonious, activate the body and create healing.” - Barbara Marciniak
