Silent Yin Special
With Daphne Luttger
21 August 2021 Go to schedule
Have you ever longed for a Yin class in silence, with no talking? Then this is for you!
This Yin class is specially designed for those who are already familiar with a yin practice and would like to experience a journey where silence is holding space. To create an atmosphere where silence is the main focus you can explore your inner world on a deeper level and start to recognize the 'noise' or 'chatter' of your own mind. By doing so, you can practice inner awareness of that what comes and goes (thoughts, sensations, and emotions) and move beyond the surface to dive deep into the ocean of great silence that lies within.
This 3-hour class will calm the nervous system down, relax you and hopefully brings you more inner peace.
Silence is the eloquent expression of the inexpressible - Sri Chinmoy
What you will learn:
We will start this class with an unguided meditation and then Daphne will guide you through a 3-hour long Yin practice by naming the poses only and using the singing bowl to change or to switch sides. There will be no explanation about asanas, meridians or guidance into the yin practice. Daphne will walk around to adjust, or if you need any kind of assistance you can simply raise your hand.
There will be 9 Solfeggio frequency sounds playing in the background which are electromagnetic frequencies to help you find healing, harmony and well-being.
Solfeggio frequencies were sound frequencies used in Gregorian chants. The special tones of the Solfeggio frequency were used to unite man with his maker. They did this by undoing all the conditions and conditioning that cause separation from source, be it physical, mental or spiritual. These frequencies are ancient and rediscovered and decoded by Dr Joseph Puleo a naturopathic physician and one of America's leading herbalists, who began his research of the Solfeggio frequencies in the mid-1970s. I myself believe that sound is the future of modern medicine.
An example: MI – 528 Hz
Intent: transformation and miracles (DNA repair)
Tone ‘Mi’ is used to return human DNA to its original, perfect state. This frequency brings transformation and miracles into your life. The process of DNA reparation is followed by beneficial effects – increased amount of life energy, clarity of mind, awareness, awakened or activated creativity, ecstatic states like deep inner peace, dance and celebration. Tone ‘Mi’ activates your imagination, intention and intuition to operate for your highest and best purpose.
Some experience with the practice of Yin Yoga is required. In this silent class, there will be very little to no explanation and instructions. Being familiar with the names of the poses and their different variations is recommended. If you're not sure if you're ready to join this special class, please feel free to check with Daphne via firstname.lastname@example.org.
