Skeletal Variation: a Yin Yoga Workshop

With Daphne Luttger

In time, with Yoga practice, we begin to understand our bodies in much clearer detail.
You might wonder sometimes why some poses are easy to get into, while others seems to be difficult or even impossible. Our bodies are uniquely designed. When we look at the bony skeleton of one person for example, not one bone is the same compared to the bones of someone else.

This 3 hours yin yoga workshop gives you insight in your own body and is based on the teachings of Paul Grilley, with a particular focus on bone structure and skeletal variation.

You will learn what the difference is between muscular tension and bony compression. You will see that there is a lot to gain from practicing yoga for lengthening muscular tissue and chi flow but very little when it comes to bone structure.

This workshop includes a lecture about skeletal variation; we will also look at the variety of anatomical structure by means of physical tests, and we will end with a yin yoga practice, experiencing more understanding and acceptance of our own body.

This workshop is for everyone interested in understanding and learning more about Yin Yang Yoga and Anatomy.
