Turning upside down: Inversions workshop

Inverted poses like handstand, headstand and forearm stand can be a great addition to your yoga practice. Often it takes a little extra attention to learn, mainly because we think that inverted poses are difficult, dangerous or we need a lot of experience first.
Well, here’s a workshop that gives you exactly that safety, confidence and playfulness to get a great taste of inversions and tips and tricks on how to keep practicing them.

 

In this workshop we use a lot of support of your co students, by letting you spot and catch each other. We will also use the wall in new and creative ways, and of course we will get insight on how to use body alignment to find proper, healthy and effortless inverted poses.

 

Then you can start to enjoy the many benefits that inversions give:
a strong and open body, increased blood circulation, a balanced hormone system. Inversions also have great benefits for your digestive system and help increase emotional stability.

 

Dieke has years of experience in integrating acrobatic techniques with yogic principles, she will share with you a fun, playful yet profound way to become more comfortable in your inversion practices.
