Yin Yoga Masterclass

This 3 hour Yin yoga master class will give you the opportunity to explore your inner world longer and deeper as we stay longer in a pose, usually 3-5 minutes. Yin yoga is a practice that brings together the 3 bodies that are called the physical, astral (feelings, emotions) and mental (thoughts) which are knit together through our meridians and chakra’s. Yin is also a practice of awareness and letting go. It is a physical healing practice which stimulates Chi flow through our connective tissue and stimulates mobility in our joints while relaxing our muscles. It clears the channels of the nerve system and meridians eventually having a calming effect on the body and mind. You can observe everything that takes place in you while you are in the pose with a deeper understanding of all that comes and goes (anicha, this to will pass.) without labelling or identifying with that what IS as we cultivate a practice of being in the moment. Having a direct experience with truth.
This Master class is for those who already practice Yin Yoga for a while and want to deepen inner awareness. Meditation and Pranayama will also be part of the practice.
Each master class will focus on a specific area in the body and the related meridians:
- 6 May 2017: Hip openers (gall bladder & liver meridian)
- 22 July 2017: Spine (kidney & bladder meridian)
- 9 September 2017: Shoulders and arms (heart, lungs, intestines, triple burner meridian)
