"You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf" ~ John Kabat-Zin
While the experience of fear, sadness, anger or anxiety can be overwhelming, difficult emotions are not fixed states - we can enter into them and influence them directly through the breath and body, dramatically shifting our experience to one of more openness and ease. In this workshop we will draw on the wisdom traditions of yoga and mindfulness, yoga therapy and contemporary neuroscience to learn simple, but potent practices for navigating the more challenging emotions that come with being human.
Includes a short talk, breath-based asana practice for all levels and abilities, pranayama, meditation, guided self-reflection and time for discussion. You will come away with practices to do at home including short guided recordings.
You can register for this workshop by paying with iDeal using the 'Book' link. Full payment is required to ensure your place. Registration is confirmed when payment is complete.
Are you entitled to a refund of the registration fee in case of cancellation? Please read article 16 ‘Cancellation of Workshop Registration’ in our General Terms and Conditions to know exactly where you stand.
