The year 2017 turned out to be the starting point of Jan’s spiritual path. His curiosity and open attitude has led him to different styles of yoga, many teachers, Ayurveda and breathwork. Jan’s intention is to connect with likeminded people, share his passions and spread positivity. “What goes around comes back around.”
Coming from a spiritual background, with her mother being a Tai Chi instructor and her stepfather a Reiki master, yoga was quite the logical path to follow. But it took a while for her to discover this. During the tumultuous time of her study at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Gaia was looking for a counterbalance in her daily routine. Something to be an outlet for the heat in the body whilst also being a nurturing force. So in her freshman year, she started doing yoga, mainly as home-practice. After learning more about the different styles, she became interested in the theory and visited Nepal with their beautiful monasteries. There she learned the meaning of true gratitude and being humble, and aspires to carry this out to others. Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. - Rainer Maria Rilke
Sibel Özen was born in Amsterdam in 1993. She discovered the world of yoga while traveling around the world after high school, and it has played a big role in her life ever since. It has provided stability and guidance through the many different phases in her life.\r\nIt never ceases to amaze Sibel how yoga can be a tool to control mind and body, while also proving to be useful for acceptance and letting go. She finds inspiration in Taoism, and hopes to expand her knowledge on these teachings and other spiritually stimulating texts. She strives to go with the flow simply enjoying wherever life takes her daily. Working as a host at Delight yoga, she hopes to help make all students feel welcome by sharing her warmth and openness.
