Yoga and Ayurveda are like inseparable siblings – the union of Universal Wisdom. The combination of these two sciences brings forth a system of healing for physical, mental and spiritual health and happiness.
In this Foundation on Ayurveda program, led by Victoria (Tory) Hyndman, you will experience how we are all made up of nature's five great elements, the Pancha Mahabhutas (Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth) and how to live according to these laws of nature, enabling us to meet our fullest individual potential.
Though we are all made up of the exact same elements, we each contain different amounts of each element, therefore each one of us being a unique expression of nature. Consequently, we all need different foods, herbs, healing remedies, lifestyles, and yoga practices. This training is suitable for everyone who has a profound interest in Ayurveda and some experience with yoga.

This training is suitable for everyone with a profound interest in Ayurveda.
The best way of learning and integrating anything into our life is through direct experience. This training will be mainly experiential in nature. Although a digital reader will be provided to process the theory (outside of the training hours), it is recommended to bring an open mind, humility and humour, beside a good journal to record not only the training content, but also the transformative insights it can offer for your own life.
No previous Ayurvedic experience is required for joining this Level 1 training. If you already have some Ayurvedic experience or if you are a regular yoga practitioners or (future) yoga teacher/guide, we recommend following the Yoga & Ayurveda (50-hours - Level 2) program by Victoria instead which focuses more on the incorporation of Ayurveda into the daily yoga practice.
