Meet the teachers, their background stories, motivation and experience
Asameé was born and raised in Poland and came to The Netherlands 21 years ago and this country became her home. Her journey with the Tibetan singing bowls and sound therapy started in 2014 when she purchased her first singing bowl. At that point it was not yet clear to her that it will start a new chapter of her life. Music has always been a big part of Asameé’s life and she had used it as ‘medicine’. It wasn’t until 2015 that she experienced first hand the healing properties of the vibrations of the Tibetan singing bowls, though. From then on she started working with sound as form of therapy by giving sound massages.
During her sound meditations/ baths she uses not only the Tibetan singing bowls, but also other instruments such as shaman drums, gongs, koshi chimes, tank drums and many more. This creates a very rich experience which can also be described as a sound journey. While you lie down comfortably on a yoga mat under a blanket the vibrations of the singing bowls help you deal with stress or discomfort as they enter your body and reach every cell of it helping you to achieve a deep state of relaxation. They also help to release energy blockages allowing the energy to flow freely through the entire body. The sessions are not only beneficial for the body, but also for the mind.
