Meet the teachers, their background stories, motivation and experience

Daniela Agius

Daniela was introduced to yoga and joined her first class primarily out of curiosity back in 2006 while studying for a Masters Degree in Sweden. Little did she know then, how much she would grow to enjoy such practice. Through exploring different styles of yoga and practising with different teachers, she became particularly drawn to Vinyasa and Astanga Yoga and delved deeper into these practices when moving to the Netherlands in 2009 where she completed a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training (300 hours). During this training, her interest in the Astanga yoga system also started to flourish and attended led classes with Eva Ugolini, later progressing to the Mysore style of practice. Daniela remains today guided by Eva as well as Claudia Pradella, her primary teachers who inspire her greatly every day. Yoga is an integral part of her daily life both on and off the mat, a cherished gift that she is extremely passionate about in sharing it with others through her teaching. Her classes are centred around finding energy and strength through movement with attentiveness to the breath and correct alignment, helping to maintain ease and stability throughout the yoga journey.
