Ellen Paalman is a Astanga en Vinyasa yoga teacher and dedicated yogi with a deep interest in yoga postures and their mechanics. As a child and teenager she was fascinated by dance, but finding yoga felt like coming home. She felt she was finally allowed to look within, instead of focussing on picture perfect. Since then yoga has inspired and challenged her both physically and mentally and it helps her to let go of the hustle and bustle of daily life. As a teacher her goal is to allow her students to discover their hidden strength and courage in their practice, so that they surprise themselves and have fun. The world of yoga has given her valuable lessons on listening to her body and honoring her boundaries, both physical and mental, and she hopes to inspire her students to listen closely to themselves and the messages their bodies have for them.
Her motto in her practice is: If you believe in yourself, your options are endless. She completed her teacher training at the Ashtanga Yoga Academy and has since then studied with David Williams, Clayton Horton, Esak Garcia, Gibran Gonzalez to name a few. She teaches Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga at Delight Yoga and Intuition Yoga.
