From her younger years, Ike was searching for things to make sense in life. When she started with yoga she found that connection. Yoga for her is a way to explore and to be still.
In 2013 she started a vinyasa training with Anat Geiger, Marcel van de Vis Heil & Johan Noorloos. Out of interest, to deepen her practice. Although, when she subbed a class, she immediately loved to see how people react on the classes. Soon after she did her yin training (Anat Geiger & Marcel van de Vis Heil), then her practice and teaching was more complete. She is interested to let people feel comfortable, to calm down and explore in various ways.
She is trying to inspire herself with practice, books and trainings with various inspiring teachers, like Jo Phee (Yin, Chinese Medicine & Meridian yin), Dr. Ganesh Mohan (Yoga Therapy), Shirley Woods (yoga philosophy). She hopes to give their learnings back to the students.
Her classes are finding a way into the depths of your body and mind. Becoming aware of everything we are, think, do and feel. So eventually we find a way to have more peace within ourselves.
